Born and raised in Basel (Switzerland). Trained as an interior decorator. Completed further training as an export manager and received musical training (piano). My nearly 30 years of experience in these three fields have inspired my creativity and imagination. At the same time, this experience has aligned with my goal-oriented nature and my penchant for disciplined work.
Starting in 2002, I learned the craft of ceramics from the ground up in renowned ceramic studios in Basel.
Since 2009, I have been working as a freelance ceramicist in my studio in Basel. The works resulting from my specialization in traditional firing have earned me significant recognition, particularly abroad.
